July Newsletter

Hi Again
We're really excited to be running a session at Land Skills Fair - a BPOC-only dreaming session - imagining what does a BPOC centred land project look like? As Land Skills Fair is a wider agroecological space, we thought it was important to have a BPOC only space that creates an opportunity for us to share, connect and create together. All our low-income tickets are out - but we still have some supporter tickets available. Come say hi!
Out and Proud African LGBT are raising money for their continued work in supporting refugees and asylum seekers. Please donate some money to their efforts and read more about their fundraising here and below.

LION at Land Skills Fair
On Friday 22nd July, LION will facilitate a dreaming space for BPOC attendees. Join us from 1:30pm to 3pm. We will also be hosting a short film screening at 3pm on Friday too!
You can still get tickets here!

We're finally hosting an in person event! We will be talking about what we've been up to, the successes and challenges and more than anything, connecting to other BPOC interested in our work with food, music and good vibes. Final batch of tickets will be available to book on 27th July here.

Out and Proud African LGBT - Fundraiser
OPAL is a brilliant, migrant led LGBT refugee support and casework charity. Our office campaneros, we really want people who believe in our work to donate to their fundraiser. They are trying to raise £5000 for a programme of social and legal support for refugees and asylum seekers in 2022, so that they receive support during their asylum applications, and OPAL may continue to organise social events and pay for their office space for one-to-one specialist support needed.
